Bel Aire
In all of our preliminary interviews and research of the location of this Umpqua store, one thing came up again and again. "Napa is just a beautiful place to live, simple as that.” This particular store's small footprint would see an unusually high volume of daily traffic. The circulation and spatial plan function to accommodate traffic well in both high and low conditions. The narrative and secondary theming elements personalize the environment while highlighting the beauty and surroundings of the area. The narrative, constructed from vintage wine boxes, symbolically connect the story of Napa Valley's history as a major wine producer.
