South Lake Union
Located in the heart of Seattle's biotech center, our objective was to create an environment that was part neighborhood meet-up, part resource center. Offering an alternative conference area or secondary office space, providing a reprieve from the traditional cubicle environment.
The neighborhood narrative tells the story of the locale's history while framing it in a form that speaks to its current incarnation. Choosing the DNA sequence as an abstract form, we used imagery from the neighborhood's past to create a layered presentation using metal and glass.
